aNueNue AKK3 All Solid Hawaiian Koa Tenor Ukulele with gigbag
Here is a brand new model from aNueNue. They're making a truly gorgeous, professional range of ukuleles that although made in China beat many other more famous brands hands down for quality and value.
Like the concert AKK2, the body of this tenor is on the larger side. But, it is not heavy in any way - exactly the opposite in fact. It is a very hard trick to pull off, to get a Tenor size instrument to be light and stiff and sound as responsive and full as this does. Only a handful of top end brands really master it - aNueNue are among them. Very clever indeed!
The Koa makes a brighter sound with more high mids in the frequency response than the Mahogany AMM3, but it matches the Mahogany every step for projection and volume.
Lots of other high quality touches are there too - bone nut and saddle, aNueNue's own brand machine heads are fantastic nestled in the beautifully engineered slotted headstock, and their own brand Black Water strings are crisp and match the mighty lightweight punch of the ukulele. And that mirror gloss finish just sets it all off wonderfully.
Like their sister series, the Mahogany AMM, these ukes reek of quality, and stand up to brands costing twice as much.
Pictures show an average example, not the actual instrument you will receive.
