The Journeyman is the grandest UBass in the new line up, made of Laminate Mahogany with white binding, f-holes, and a cutaway. The Journeyman is a great for gigging, has the original UBass tone, and it won’t break the bank. Hone your skills and perfect your craft, this UBass is made to take you as far as you want to go. The Journeyman will set you on your way to becoming a master. Being the first Ubass with a cutaway is handy for anybody looking to make the most of the whole fingerboard!

The preamp features a built in tuner, so no need for any clip-on tuners. And with the wound strings, you have a decent acoustic volume as well as a crisper bite to the sound if you want it! You can of course dial this out with the onboard EQ so you get that lovely warm woody thumpy double bass sound if you want - but you can have a more contemporary, rocky sound as well which is impossible with polyurethane strings.

We have four of these, all of which have some minor cosmetic issues with the finish. Nothing too major, just small dinks and scratches here and there, which are made much more visible by the Matte black finish!
