Flight Carabao All Solid Spruce/Mango Guitalele SUS EXCLUSIVE #2

About a year ago, Flight took their first serious step into the Guitalele world with the GUT850. The guitalele in question is a Baritone size tiny guitar tuned either E to E or A to A and it absolutely blew us all away here at SUS... A portion of the Uke playing audience out there are always going to love the established Guitar brands when they make efforts to build a Guitar for Ukulele players but, we've come to realise that often the best Guitaleles come from Ukulele manufacturers as they remain, sweet, smooth and balanced in build quality. Martin, Yamaha and even Romero produce serviceable instruments but Flight have taken a huge step forward here with an instrument bigger than the absolute top end Kanile'a/KoAloha guitalele offerings but small enough that a Uke player will feel at home.

Using the same body as Flight's carabao and aurora baritone ukuleles, this guitalele has a solid spruce top and solid Mango back and sides. It absolutely sings with crisp highs and a warm, pronounced low end. It never sounds muddy like so many other guitaleles do.

Our Carabao line of instruments came about from Alex at SUS's love for Mango Ukuleles and succesful signature ukuleles with Big Island and Kanile'a. The Carabao series has taken on a life of its own receiving high praise from independant review sites. The combination of Spruce and Mango makes for a deep, complex sounding instrument with plenty of volume. Mango has a unique look too meaning each instrument is special in its own way.

The strings fitted are Folk style Classical guitar strings with Silver basses and nylon trebles.
