Guadalupe Hand Made Baritone Scale Dropped Octave Low GCEA Tuning Silk Core Nylon Wound Ukulele Strings
Since 1990, the musicians making strings for musicians at Guadalupe have made it their mission to create and produce the highest quality strings for mariachi instruments, bajo quinto and of course, catching our eye, ukulele. Their small team works out of a workshop in East L.A. producing all of their products by hand. These low GCEA baritone ukulele strings go beyond even our ridiculously high expectations.
Guadalupe's baritone scale dropped octave low-G strings are really a very unique set. If you imagine what baritone strings are to standard GCEA, well these are dropped another step down to a whole new spot on the spectrum.
They are a quieter string, so won't cut through when accompanying very bright and loud standard ukes, but if you want something different, special and soulfull then these are for you. With a silk core, the A is hand wound with ultra-fine, high-quality nylon to produce a stunning sounding, silky smooth feeling, quality assured string with fantastic tension.
The G, C & E strings feature the same silk core, precision wound with silvered copper. Attention to detail and true consideration for the player make for one of the most interesting and exciting strings we have ever strung upon a uke.
