Kai KCI-100M Solid Mahogany Top Concert Ukulele with gigbag

Kai ukuleles are emerging as one of the best new brands of the last five years. With several fantastic models available, the only thing that has hindered this great brand so far was an introductory priced ukulele, until now.

The KCI-90 and KTI-90 concert and tenors have been incredibly popular. They made of a very thin and resonant lightweight laminate maple and they play extremely well. We are absolutely delighted that they have now introduced an affordable solid top concert ukulele in a similar price bracket.

Sometimes, you can be forgiven for thinking you might be playing a Kala, Snail or an Ohana. That speaks to the incredible quality of these ukuleles that comes at a fraction of the price of the big name ukulele brands.

This quirky little instrument has a bright sound, but the real winner is the side-sound port. It adds some much welcome bass and warmer mid frequencies to the tone of this concert uke. They are real winners and are both hard to beat instruments at this price. The mahogany gives the instrument a slightly warmer, darker sound which at this price is quite rare!
