Kai KTI-90 Laminate Maple Tenor Ukulele with gigbag

We are seriously impressed with the KTI-90 laminate maple tenor from Kai ukulele. 

Kai are emerging as one of the best new ukuleles brands of the last five years. With several fantastic models available, the only thing that has hindered this great brand so far was an introductory priced ukulele, until now.

The KTI-90 tenor ukulele is made of a very thin and resonant lightweight laminate flamed maple, and it plays extremely well. Sometimes, you can be forgiven for thinking you might be playing a Kala, Snail or an Ohana - such is the quality of these ukuleles often at a fraction of the price of the big name ukulele brands.

This quirky instrument has a bright sound but the real winner is the side-sound port which adds some much welcome bass and warmer mid frequencies to the tone of this tenor uke. They are real winners and are both hard to beat instruments at this price.
