Kala Elite Koa 1 Concert Ukulele Solid Koa Satin Finish with case #20270918

The Kala Elite series is now carving out a real reputation for quality, both in terms of build and sound. We dubbed these Koa1's the Hawaiian beaters because they are so reminiscent and familiar to what you might expect companies like Kanile'a or Kamaka to build.

The main difference between this instrument and something like a Kanile'a K-1 is a thicker neck with the enlarged 38mm nut width. As well as helping a 'sausage fingered' player hit those hard to reach notes - that thick neck really adds some depth to the overall sound. This Ukulele feels a bit like a small Tenor Uke and that isn't a bad thing.
