This Kala KA-CEM concert ukulele has a sensational looking flamed exotic laminate mahogany on the top, back and sides. It makes for a beautiful uke you'll surely not want to put down. The sound is very sweet and balanced, with enough headroom to go loud when strummed strong, and retain clarity when picked quietly. So good looks, good sound, good price - good value! Once upon a time, Kala made this model with a very eccentric heavy orange stained finish but we definitely prefer this new understated incarnation with its unstained, light wood look.
