The Kala mango tenor ukulele has always been one of the most popular instruments in the Kala range. The mango tenor is a really great uke. It looks the part and sounds just as good as anything at this price.

Don't be put off by the fact that this is a laminate ukulele! Laminates have their special skill set. If you are travelling from one climate zone to another, a laminate ukulele makes perfect sense. These ukes are they are largely immune to changes in temperature and humidity, unlike your solid wood instruments. It has a very sweet sound that's a little on the mellow side, no uncommon for a laminate ukulele. It's nicely balanced and has a decent volume.
