Kala KA-PWTE Electro Acoustic Pacific Walnut Tenor Ukulele

Pacific Walnut, of which this instrument is made, is a quick growing and sustainable source of wood from the Far East. It has a beautiful mixed light and dark striped grain which looks sensational, and lends a nice mellow sound to this very competent laminate Electro Tenor ukulele.

At the price, there is nothing else that we could really recommend more highly if you want a Tenor uke to plug in for gigging or recording; you will find that the acoustic sound will always be on the mellow side, owing to the laminate construction, but with the right choice of strings (D'Addario or Aquila) you can coax a very nice, balanced and soulful sound from the instrument.
