USED Kala KA-SA-TE-C All Solid Acacia Electro Cutaway Tenor Uke

£250.00 £250.00
Well this is a welcome blast from the past... The Kala KA-SA-TE-C was a SUS exclusive Kala model for several years between 2011-2018. Before the market had lots of Flight Mustangs/Phantoms and Snail S60's to fulfil the needs of players looking for a quality solid Acacia uke; Kala were doing it first with this lovely aged looking uke. This second hand model has been kept in great condition with a unique look that can be attributed to the wood lightly bleaching in the sun over the last couple of years. The condition is excellent with no dings of note and just two small patches on the top where the finish has been lightly buffed shiny over the years it has been played.

A bargain for someone, no doubt about it!

----
Made from all solid acacia, this tenor ukulele with an active shadow pickup and cutaway makes for one of the sexiest looking, best sounding and versatile tenor ukuleles available today.

Acacia is similar in character to Koa, so on the brighter side of the spectrum. The sound is very clear, with plenty of volume and lovely sustain, typical of all solid wood instruments: cheaper laminates can sound muddy by comparison. The tone, volume and sustain is undoubtedly helped by the ebony nut and saddle, which as a very hard wood allows for greater vibrations which go on for longer.

With Aquila strings pepping the sound up even further, you have a well made, great looking, great feeling Tenor ukulele which can turn its hand to any style of playing.

The model number has recently changed from the KA-ASAC-TE/C to KA-SA-TE-C.

Owing to wood being a natural material, each ukulele will vary a little in appearance. Acacia has light and dark elements which can vary in proportion, and can form wavy or straight grain lines. The uke shown is a good representation of average!.
