KAMAMUTA - All Solid Mango Tenor Ukulele (one of a kind)

This is a one of a kind tenor ukulele in many respects... It plays a unique role in the history of the Southern Ukulele Store but doesn't feature a brand on the headstock or a label inside the soundhole you would recognise.

This tenor ukulele was actually a commercial sample we purchased from a factory in China in 2019 with a view to create a mid-priced range of mango ukuleles. They would have been in the same vein as the Kanile'a manako, this sample was the best of the samples we received.

In the end we decided that Flight could offer us the best quality and keep things affordable for you lovely folks but this ukulele is excellent and deserves much more than a life resigned to the office of the Southern Ukulele Store.

The instrument is made of a high grade solid Indian mango and it sounds just like many great ukes out there for much more money - think the Pono MGTD or the Flight mangodragon and fireball models. The sound is warm and rounded in the most unique way, it feels refined and has this bespoke element to it that you really don't see at the price we are selling this one off ukulele for.

All I can say is that if you folks don't have it... I think I will! I love mango and this is as good as any other solid mango ukulele under £500 that I have ever seen but with it's own unique story to be told.
