Kanile'a Aldrine Guerrero Model All Solid Master Grade Koa Tenor Ukulele #25491

WOW! Just an absolutely world class and stunning instrument to see, smell, hear and hold. Kanile'a signature Ukuleles do not arrive every day and the moment we took this out for inspection everybody in the shop smiled and nodded. We all knew this was something special. The last one we had was all the way back in early 2016 and what a memorable uke they are as not a month goes by where we don't receive an enquiry about this models availability...

This Ukulele has tonnes of depth and complexity to its tone. On first play it sounds warm but rings out in such an emotional and delicate way. Kanile'a have made another Ukulele that could make a Harp blush. Have you looked at the back? It just ripples and waves and tells its own story. Aldrine Guerrero is a modern day pillar for the Ukulele community as the creator and owner of Ukulele Underground he has taught thousands of people the ins and outs of our favourite instrument as well as performing in more than a dozen different countries including at our very own store all the way back in 2014. The serial numbers tell a good story as Kanile'a have built 10000 instruments since we last had an Aldrine and this one actually completed production just before Christmas 2021 so Merry Christmas to us!

 

This model at first glance shares inspiration with the popular K-3 model but every element has been upgraded in some way from the Premium Koa making way for Master grade Koa, birds eye maple trim and the Black Handcrafted Gilbert tuners with Ebony knobs and dots which in itself is one of the very top ukulele components you can find on the market anywhere... Wow!

 

It wouldn't surprise me if this was the last Aldrine model we saw here at SUS as availability of the right woods is becoming harder and harder to find. Still, it's nice to support one of our favourite Ukulele masters by showcasing his signature Kanile'a instrument in our Bournemouth showroom. Video to come soon!
