This A-SC-4 is the first super concert produced by Kanile'a in their Islander line. It's wonderful to finally see an affordable option out there for players wanting that larger tenor ukulele neck with a gentler springier concert sound. The laminate acacia has such an authentic mellow tone that I was fooled at first into thinking it was a solid top. Further proof if ever it was needed that sometimes a laminate is where it's at!
