Kanile'a Islander AS-4 Soprano Ukulele Acacia

Made in China, the AS-4 soprano is the intermediate level Kanile'a. Made to the same exacting standards as the expensive Hawaiian koa models, these Islanders have a unique charm all of their own. A very good and pretty acacia laminate makes for a really strong and sweet sound for the price, and features shared with the big daddy Kanile'a ukes such as the bridge pins give it a real touch of class.

One of the most attractive things about this soprano ukulele is the slightly wider than normal fretboard, which at 1.5 inches or 38mm at the nut makes getting your fingers into the right shapes an absolute doddle. Combine that width with a very slinky neck profile and you have a very easy to play instrument.
