What a stunner the koa KPA-ST Kanile'a Tenor ukulele is! This uke has the upgrade to the premium curly koa, and boy does it show! The holographical detailing to the wood just dazzles. Not only is this Super Tenor ukulele a feast for the eyes, this one is an absolute treat for the ears as well.

With crystal clarity at all times, it has that sparkling quality to the sound that the really good koa always has, sustains for days, and and expressive range that goes from whisper to thump with never a shade of muddiness.

Let's also talk about that beautiful thick abalone rosette that just swims and shimmers in the light. The abalone Kanile'a inlay in the headstock is also easily up there with the very best cosmetic details ever featured on an instrument! This is the very first Super Tenor we have received from Kanile'a with the KPA Abalone trim. It is just a feast for the senses with that bigger body and stretched lower bout giving you a much throatier, deeper and more mature sound than a normal Tenor.

The Super Tenor does a much better job of giving you that guitar sound in GCEA than a Baritone Ukulele and keeping the 17'' Tenor scale length on this does nothing but good things for how it fits in the hand and against the body. There is something so luscious about the Super Tenor as well. It's decadent and regal with a good amount of vibrations hitting your body when you play.
