The MG-210L Millar solid mango long neck soprano ukulele is an absolute gem in an already diamond and ruby filled Millar catalogue of instruments. It stood out to us on looks alone because frankly; a ukulele at £399 would not normally have such premium looking solid mango wood on it. You could add £200+ to the price and it would feel justified on such a superlative instrument.

The body is soprano sized and solid mango paired with a 15'' concert scale length (longer neck). This is becoming the 'new normal' in many circles of soprano ukuleles as the longer neck creates a bit more tension on the strings, space for the fingers without looking strange or feeling unbalanced with the smaller body size.

This Millar soprano ukulele purrs like a kitten and sings like Atomic Kitten! It's just warm and full and everything people want soprano ukes to be but they rarely are.

A subtle touch that Millar do so well is the barely noticeable neck tapers. For example, this instrument has a perfectly flat point at the back of neck by the headstock for comfort and barre chord ease. The 35mm nut width might be a bit narrow for someone used to a wider string spacing but it doesn't feel especially narrow when the neck is engineered to put your fingers in the right position.
