Beautiful model and an extremely rare storied tonewood combination from Ohana. The Oregan Sinker Redwood has been sat at the bottom of a swamp for over a century before finding its way to becoming this instrument. The Redwood gives a ringing tone similar to Cypress and Cedar but cosmetically, it is just so much more interesting than your average piece of cedar. The Indian Rosewood gives a real measure of refinement and clarity to the sound, as well as helping with the volume and projection of the instrument. As you would expect from Ohana, one of the best sounding ukes for the price.
