USED Ohana CK70-8 8 String Solid Spruce top/Mahogany Concert Ukulele

A wonderful 8 string ukulele here from Ohana that delves into the smaller sizes in a way few other ukulele brands have tackled. It takes the best parts of multi-course ukuleles and conventional 4 strings and puts them together in one stunning instrument. The CK70-8 is a solid top ukulele with a bigger sound than the average concert.

It's tuned to Gg,cC,ee, aa. The mixture of low and high G (like a 5 string) and inclusion of the high C string gives you all the jangle and chimey chorus but with a cleaner treble side. You can pick melody with octave bass notes on this.

Best of all, the instrument doesn't suffer at all for being a concert size. 6/8 string concerts are very rare and can feel slightly claustrophobic, but this uke has a tight sound and a pleasant ring to it. 

This one was owned for around 6 months this year, and traded back in against a uke of a different size. It is in excellent condition with only the smallest signs of being played, with no major marks or dings to be seen. Solid 9.5/10! Pictures show actual instrument.
