Pono MC(C)-PC Solid Cedar/Mahogany Pro Classic Concert Ukulele w/TGI Hard Case #2020-01

The new 2020 Pono Pro Classics are incredible. The MC(C)-PC Is an all solid Java made cedar/mahogany concert ukulele with seemingly everything going for it!

The cedar top on each looks gorgeous and nicely figured and that full, confident and heavily projecting qualities of cedar go very well with the concert size. It has lots of snap and attack to each note but the mahogany back and sides calm everything down wonderfully and the result is a loud, crisp instrument with some depth and tonal maturity.

This particular Pro-Classic model is a bit like my perfect pudding; it's got some sharpness to it when it reaches your senses but the total experience is enhanced by some sweetness when you give it a few seconds to make it's mark... I'm not just saying that because I wrote this listing at dinner time.

Pono should also be complimented on the newer thicker front and back binding which gives the Pono it's unique look, the gold Grover tulip button tuners and finally in place of the Pono hard cases that have been discontinued; we are including a TGI ABS hard case at no extra cost.
