Pono MTSH-SP Solid Spruce/Mahogany Tenor Ukulele - Radius Fretboard

For years, the Pono range of tenor ukuleles has become the benchmark for professional quality build and sound. They have such excellent build quality, and features like the truss rod make them really easy to set up to suit any style of playing, and any player.

In the deluxe gloss finish range, the solid spruce top/solid mahogany back and sides combination has been around for many years. This Pono tenor ukulele includes a slotted headstock which changes the feel and sound slightly adding something different.

The sound is slightly rounder and heavier on the mid range frequencies than the unglossed paddle headstock and ATSH-SP variations, but it retains that lovely immediacy and punch that you expect from solid spruce. And all across the range, the tone is rich, with impressive volume and intonation.

This model features a radiused fretboard for easier fretting of barre chords.
