We're sure you're going to love the tobacco sunburst LP style electric Risa tenor ukulele. It's a very faithful scaling down of the classic LP design. On this tenor ukuleles, you'll get twin humbuckers and volume/tone on each pickup, and a 3 way selector switch. This allows you to quickly and easily switch from searing lead sounds on the bridge pickup to chunky strumming sounds on the neck pickup and everything in between.

Made in the Czech Republic, this electric ukulele is very well made indeed, with great attention not just to the styling, but also to the finishing. The hardware is as you would expect from Risa - high quality components - which combined with the build quality makes for an instrument that sounds good and is built to last.

To replace the strings, you need the top 4 strings from a standard set of 10 gauge electric guitar strings (10, 13, 16, 28 or very similar), which gives you the low G tuning. To get a high G tuning, you need an 11 gauge single string.

Pictures show the actual instrument you will receive. It is in decent condition, with some strumming marks, very fine scratches and small dings to the top, and a cluster of small dings by the jack socket. So, around 7.5/10 cosmetically, but it feels and plays just right.

Do not be put off by the removable clear film coatings on the plastic components around the jack socket and on the back, which we have left on because some customers want to them for as long as possible. It looks a little tatty around the jack socket, but underneath this film, the plastic will look as good as new!
