Romero Creations PRS6-SMG All Solid Spruce/Mango Parlour Guitar in case

This is a quite lovely little parlour guitar from Romero Creations. If, like many uke players, you have added a Guitalele to your armoury, got along with it and now want to see where your 6 string playing can go, this would be an ideal step up instrument.

It is fair to say that both Pepe Romero Junior (the luthier) and Pepe Romero Senior (the player) are classical guitar royalty. We first came into contact with Romero Creations because of the Tiny Tenor range of ukuleles which have proven really popular with a wide range of players of all styles. We are always asked for short scale guitars such as the Pono Terz, and it is nice to offer another well made, great sounding option at a great price.

This is a distinct step up from the cheaper Romero Parlour model, The Pepe. The solid woods all round, combined with the gloss finish make for a stiffer and more responsive instrument with a really clean, clear and expressive sound. Very decent intonation and projection all the way up the neck keeps even the most advanced players interested - in fact I had to prise it out of Phil's hands when he was quality checking it....The tone, sustain and character of the sound is really impressive.

No grain filler has been used on the Spalted Mango on the back, to help keep the sound as bright and vibrant as possible. This has resulted in some very small pits in the gloss finish manifesting over some of the features in the wood. They are not dinks, just characteristics of the build!
