Romero Creations TT Tiny Tenor Uke Solid Koa #21011
The tiny tenor is everything you want from a tenor in feel but reduced in size. It's build to fit into spaces previously only a concert ukulele would reach. The reduction at the headstock gives the illusion of more space at the top of the neck.
The topsy-turvy body design will probably not be to every players taste however, those that like pineapple ukuleles with the Ditson like tightness in the bass will agree that this ukulele has a fantastically clean and honest sound.
Romero Creations deserve a big pat on the back for this new design. It's not easy to reinvent an already perfect instrument, but they've done it!
The Hawaiian koa models are a little bit more bubbly and mellow in their output whereas the mahogany has a little bit less bass and a stronger mid range.
In the same vein as Japanese made ukuleles like Kiwaya and Takumi; this range of Vietnamese made Romero instruments have a mellow nature. They're perfect for somebody looking to play sleepy melodies to themselves with all the nuance and precision normally associated with a louder instrument.
