The Kala KA-8 is about the cheapest mid quality 8 tenor string ukulele you can buy. We think it is excellent value for money instrument. The build quality is very good and the sound is as you would want from an 8 string. It's full, rounded and jangly, but without any muddiness in the mid range. Aquila strings help, of course!
