2025 is an important year for Kanile'a as they rewrite their whole catalog and produce three distinctive models for the first time NATURAL, CORE & PRO.

This KPA T PRO model is the first to land in the UK at SUS and features the familiar look, feel and tone of Premium Hawaiian Koa wood; with a tasteful thick Abalone soundhole rosette. For many years, the KPA model has been amongst the most popular ukuleles in the Kanile'a range.

The KPA-T pairs those gorgeous brown, orange and golden hues with the reflective ocean blue look of Abalone.
Alex from our videos has proclaimed Kanile'a many times the Ukulele builders in the world that consistently produce world class instruments - It's a premium priced ukulele but if you want the purest and most lyrical uke; Kanile'a just don't disappoint. Their instruments have incredible finishes, really second to none, and they possess incredible poise, both physically and sonically. They feel so light in the hand, thanks to very clever bracing and beautifully refined, high quality thin wood being used.

Everything on the bodies is designed to maximise vibrations - the TRU-R bracing allows the top to ring for longer, the internal binding top the top and back is as minimal as possible without compromising structural integrity, and the wood is very carefully selected for the correct grain properties which allows the soundwaves to be created. And everything is put together by master craftsmen, who love what they do, and this shows. The Pro series Ukuleles also feature some important upgrades; these include a side sound port that enables the player to truly get the best of the tone pointed back up at them. Under the top is an innovative weight reliefing technique called TRU-REDUCTION which makes the wood lighter but somehow more reinforced and stiffer in the hands. Finally, the nut and saddle have been upgraded to Black TUSQ; a synthetic material known to create longer sustained and improved bass response.

All this attention to detail results in a huge but crystal clear and balanced sound, endless sustain and very pretty and complex harmonics in the sound. You really can do everything on a Kanile'a!
