Well, well, well... Welcome back to the Southern Ukulele Store, Lanikai. We're really impressed with this Lanikai ACST-C Concert Uke.

Back in the early days of the 'uke boom of 2009-2013' Lanikai were a juggernaut of a ukulele brand offering everything and anything a beginner/intermediate player could want. Then, for a while there were major supply issues and eventually the brand themselves went quite quiet for several years here in the UK.

That has all started to change and I found myself extremely excited by this model at the 2020 NAMM show. The ACST series has a solid acacia top, laminate acacia back and sides with lovely maple bindings.

It sounds warm and rich and although it's a bit on the weighty side it still retains a lovely natural resonance to it.
