The X series Baritone has a warm, jazzy tone, akin to the much loved 1960's Vega, Favilla, Martin and Gibson Baritone ukes that started it all for the Baritone uke... with a slick feeling satin finish to the solid Mahogany body and the neck. The side sound port gives the player the full benefit of the warm natural tone this ukulele produces. We have been waiting over a year to receive 'Oli at Southern Ukulele Store and I can already tell within minutes of getting my hands on these Ukuleles that they are going to give hundreds of people, years of joy. It's impossible not to smile while you play it. Professional Baritone Ukuleles are few and far between, this model with its thin top and light overall weight is a marvel.
