Snail ukuleles are consistently well make and deliver a sound quality that you'd expect from a ukulele three times this price. The whole range of SUC and SUT Snail ukuleles are world class. The sound from the laminate mahogany is strong, certainly one of the better laminates at this price, with good amounts of volume. The neck also feels very comfortable in the hand. Not only is it easy on the ears, but on the body too! If you want a step up or intermediate level instrument, this would really be worth a look. Snail have been around only a couple of years but it seems that many players who previously had their heart set on a Kala, Ohana, Pono or the big brand alternatives have had their head turned time and time again by this plucky underdog.

The RT-C is unique because it features Abalone front binding, a darker and more traditional looking stain on the Mahogany and a darker stain on the neck.
