Aquila Corde Armoniche invented the nylgut (synthetic gut) string in 1997. Aquila Nylgut ukulele strings are highly polished, natural silk-coloured alternative strings. They were created in consultation with synthetic monofilament specialists to imitate the acoustic characteristics, feel and action of gut strings, without the defects.

One set: Tenor nylgut 8 string ukulele strings in GCEA tuning with Octave courses of G and C, and unison courses of E and A (G,g,C,c,E,E,A,A configuration). Contains an Aquila Red series Low G string.
