Thomastik-Infeld CF27 0.027 Gauge Chrome Steel Flat Wound string - Wound C

This Thomastik-Infeld ukulele string is ideal for use as a wound C string on tenor ukuleles.

It is flat wound string and has a very smooth texture. This means it doesn't squeak when your fingers move over it. You also don't get the boom you often get from a traditional wire wound string either.

The nut may need a little bit of fettling to make it fit perfectly without rattling, depending on your instrument. This string also benefits from being kept at a reasonable tension when being wound on to the string post. This goes a long way to prevent it being pinched as it comes to full tension for the first time.
