USED Beltona 6 string Resonator Ukulele Tenor Size Orangeburst with pod case

This is a wonderful lightweight resonator from Beltona which matches more heavyweight resonators from bigger brands punch for punch. 35% lighter than a metal bodied resonator, this is made of moulded glass-reinforced resin with a lightweight aluminium coverplate. The body is painted in a durable, highgloss automotive finish. It features a custom designed one-piece spun aluminium resonator cone.

This resonator uke has the standard six string configuration of High G GCEA with octave courses of high and low C and A strings, which makes a really nice luscious and very unique texture. It sounds excellent strummed but especially good when accompanying vocals. We fitted a new set of Aquilas to it, which work really well on Beltona ukes, and it sounds loud, vibrant and ready for action.

It is fundamentally in very good condition, with a few marks to be found under close scrutiny on the body. The only one that has chipped through the finish to the fibreglass is very small, around 2mm long (see pics) on the bottom bout. All other marks to be found on the body are just smaller dinks and dents and light playwear scratches, and we cannot get them to show up on photos.

There is a larger dent on the back of the neck in 1st position which you can just feel when playing (see pic), and various other small wormy marks on the back of the neck. I would call it a solid 7/10 cosmetically, as you would expect from a uke designed to be played and shown off such as this. However, structurally it is as sound as can be. The original pod case it was supplied in has lots of legs left in it too, but is showing signs of use.
