This is a truly wonderful little soprano, endowed with all of the Aloha sunny island spirit and sound. As you would expect from koa, it is bright sounding, but very smooth at the same time, not too shrill but very satisfyingly refined.

The gloss finish certainly helps to harden the wood, and help to increase the note definition and the volume. With quality fixtures and fittings such as a bone nut and saddle, and koa wood buttons on the machines heads, it really is a high quality instrument in build and sound.

This was purchased back in 2014, but has been very carefully looked after. Maybe the best presented second hand instrument we've had the pleasure of being traded in! I have examined it carefully under bright lights and it could pass as new, without any marks to the body, neck or headstock. So, I'll give it a 9.9 for condition.
