Made entirely by Kala’s top builders in Petaluma California, this 3-cord Kala Elite tenor is constructed out of beautifully figured master grade maple with some of the coolest Koa binding with green and white purfling accents. The bound Florentine cutaway and custom koa/maple/walnut “3 cord” wood marquetry inlays on both the maple faceplate and walnut gusset are some of the most standout features of any ukulele, without being too over the top.

Built for maximum projection and warmth, this uke lives up to the hype and is truly a masterfully put together instrument. As far as its condition is concerned, I’m going with 9.5/10 for this used ukulele. It has been superbly looked after and that high gloss finish has really protected it from signs of play-wear. I had to hunt to really find any signs of play at all. The only thing I could find was a tiny ding in the top but it was so insignificant that I can’t even get a photograph fit. The only negative is the handle of the faux-snakeskin is in bad shape, still totally functional, but as you can see from the photographs has split along one of its seams.
