USED Kala Elite Koa 1 Solid Hawaiian Koa Tenor Ukulele in Deluxe gigbag

The Ukulele you see before you is an absolutely immaculate example of a 2019 Kala Elite Koa 1. The previous owner had the instrument for several months but it sat largely unplayed almost immediately after they took delivery as the customer favoured a different Ukulele purchased around the same time.

The Koa Elite 1 is the Koa standard USA made Kala Tenor. Manufactured in Petaluma, California by a team of dedicated builders with a melting pot of experience with other large Ukulele companies - you will struggle to find fault with the Kala's as they are truly dedicated to providing the same consistency and prestige with each instrument as they do with their large array of Chinese and Indonesian made models.

The Koa 1 holds its own against the Hawaiian big boys with some lovely Koa, a nice thick body depth and slightly larger Tenor length and width. This instrument has plenty of opening up to do (it's only a baby really...) but it already has oodles of vibe about the sound and the thicker Kala neck with the wider 38mm nut width adds both sustain to your individual played notes and also makes for a more practical string spacing for players with big hands.

This particular model has a really love two tone shading to the top where in certain lights the instrument can appear to be two different shades of orange/brown but in natural light or at most angles it appears normal. You would never get bored looking at that!

Don't be afraid to save a little bit of money here by choosing a Kala Elite over one of the Hawaiian K brands. The Koa 1 should be number 1 on your list of Ukuleles to own and behold.
