The preamp features a built in tuner, so no need for any clip-on tuners. And with the wound strings, you have a decent acoustic volume as well as a crisper bite to the sound if you want it! You can of course dial this out with the onboard EQ so you get that lovely warm woody thumpy double bass sound if you want - but you can have a more contemporary, rocky sound as well which is impossible with polyurethane strings.

We have recently figured out a way of ensuring much more stable and even output across the strings. We modify the saddle strip, so that instead of one long, fixed saddle strip which can lose contact with the four pickup poles underneath each string, you have individual saddles underneath each string, which make much more affirmative contact with the pickup strip. So, more volume and much more even string presence!

This used model is in decent playing condition with some signs of wear, I would say with a critical eye around 6/10. Strung up smooth with a set of premium flatwound strings and shipped in the original gigbag this one is a giggers bass that's ready to hit the stage and turn heads.
