USED Kala KA-SMHT-SC All Solid Mahogany Scallop Cutaway Tenor with TGI ABS Case

 

Take the excellent solid Mahogany Kala KA-SMHT tenor, add a gloss finish and subtract a scalloped cutaway. Hey presto, the KA-SMHT-SC. Whilst retaining the warmth and smoothness of Mahogany, the gloss finish adds a little bit of zing and ping (technical terms) to the treble, which makes fingerpicking sound nice and crisp, and strumming shimmeringly gorgeous.

The scalloped cutaway does make for easier access to the top frets, so if you want to play all the way up the dusty end it makes sense. 

This one has lived a life, and has some strumming marks and tiny weeny dings to the top, some light dings to the binding, some light scratches on the back, but fundamentally it is in very good playable condition. Cosmetically 7.5/10, and the case has a few marks on it too, but lots of story left to tell in this excellent value package.
