USED Kanile'a Islander SA-4-C Concert Ukulele Solid Acacia Top in case

This one is in pretty decent condition, with some signs of use which include slightly shiny patches on the top where the players hands have glossed up the finish. Otherwise, a few small marks here and there, but loads of life left in it!

This model sports a solid asian Acacia top, and laminate acacia back and sides. Like Koa, Acacia has a very nice balanced tonal response, accented towards the brighter side. We have played one of these for a few days since the delivery arrived, and it is already opening up, and sounding fuller and lusher every day.

One of the most attractive things about this model is the slightly wider than normal fretboard, which at 1.5 inches or 38mm at the nut makes getting your fingers into the right shapes an absolute doddle. Combine that width with a very slinky neck profile and you have a very easy to play instrument.
