USED Millar PD-210MN Solid Mahogany Soprano ukulele - Phil Doleman Signature Model

This used Millar PD-210MN signature model has no business being here at SUS but we simply had to get involved as we love Millar and Phil Doleman. This Phil Doleman signature is made by Millar, a small company in Taiwan, who have been making waves in the UK with their commitment to quality and willingness to innovate. While Phil and Matt at World of Ukes have been talking about this project since way back in 2014, the ease of working with Millar Ukulele, and their sheer enthusiasm for the project made them an obvious choice for this very special collaboration.

The Millar PD-210MN soprano ukulele has been made to Phil’s specifications. He was looking for a classic visual appeal - a ukulele that was for playing, with clean lines and unfussy appearance. It's really something that you’d not be afraid to pick up and play!

The uke is made from all solid mahogany, which Millar have sourced specifically for this project. The fingerboard and bridge are clean, smooth rosewood, with a 35mm bone nut and saddle. The Der Jung tuners fitted are of great quality - with the appearance of classic friction pegs, but with gears inside.

This soprano is a great blend of looking traditional, with modern functionality - and avoids the pitfalls of putting off people who aren’t keen on friction pegs, and those who don’t like the ‘ears’ of regular geared tuners sticking out from either side of the headstock!

This model has been carefully looked after, and is in very good cosmetic order with only very small signs of being played. A solid 9.5/10 cosmetically.
