USED Pono AT All Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele

This is a professional quality tenor ukulele which has the look, the build, the sound, the works - at a very affordable price. Made in an excellent facility in Indonesia, the quality control is super tight. No unnecessary bling is added to this Pono tenor at all - the satin finish Acacia makes a very warm but balanced sound with a rich bass, and tight, chiming trebles. The finish really allows the beautiful grain in the Acacia wood shine though.

This is the warmer sounding of the two Pono acacia tenors and a rare example of a PRE-CITES Pono AT with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This changed way back in 2015 in favour of ebony. The older Ponos like this are the ukes which established the brands reputation in the first place!

It's a bit like finding a vintage pair of Doc Martens or old Levis Jeans... Classic, well made and never goes out of style. This one has been well played and condition is about 8/10 with some light buffing from play over the years and few small, hard to pick up surface marks. However, at 2/3 the price of a new one in 2023, this is a steal for someone out there who prioritises playability and tone over aesthetic perfection.
