USED Risa LP style Electric Tenor Ukulele Black with free gig bag

This second hand Risa tenor ukulele is in very good to excellent condition. It hasn't really been played that much because the original owner quickly transitioned back to the electric guitar... These polished black gloss finishes can look a bit worn quite quickly but this one looks practically new.

 

Risa's electric ukulele is a very faithful scaling down of the classic LP design, with twin humbuckers and volume/tone on each pickup, and a 3 way selector switch, so you can quickly and easily switch from searing lead sounds on the bridge pickup to chunky strumming sounds on the neck pickup and everything in between.

Made in the Czech Republic, this tenor ukulele is very well made indeed, with great attention not just to the styling, but also to the finishing. The hardware is as you would expect from RISA - high quality components - which combined with the build quality makes for an instrument that sounds good and is built to last.

To replace the strings, you need the top 4 strings from a standard set of 10 gauge electric guitar strings (10, 13, 16, 28 or very similar), which gives you the low G tuning. To get a high G tuning, you need an 11 gauge single string.

It can also be tuned like a mandolin, if you want to play it in 5ths!
