The SR-04 Snail left handed concert ukuleles are on our shortlist for the best ukulele of 2019. That's some feat considering we felt that way when we first saw them in 2017! With Alex being a lefty and being perpetually frustrated with the lack of choice out there - we decided to convince Snail to make a limited run of left handed ukuleles!

For a relatively new ukulele brand - the Snail range of ukuleles have become absolute world beaters. Several of their models resemble instruments 2 or sometimes even 3 times their price. The SR04-CE and SR-04TE offers and delivers on anything you could ever want in a premium instrument.

You will be hard pressed to find an alternative at this price that delivers this much satisfaction on first impressions. If you like your ukuleles sweet sounding but with a bit of welly when you give them a good hard strum then the SR-04 is right up your street.

This one has been extremely well looked after. I cannot find a mark on it, so it is going to have to be a 9.5/10 cosmetically. Excellent value, and could pass for new!
